I thought I had ADD, you should've seen Benji on the wheel for the last 4-hour leg of our ascend to Minneapolis. What added a bit of enjoyment to the frustrations of driving endless miles in desperation to finally see the 'Welcome To Minnesota' sign was witnessing Benji's reactions to the obscene amounts of roadkill on the side of the road. Freakin' out like a 3rd grade girl after her barbies were stolen. Well, as seen to the left, this is the Minneapolis skyline, quickly snapped while sitting shotgun.
We're here and these last couple days have exceeded our expectations like whoah. This is Beverly Hills but on LAKES, I mean all residents should own one saying that there's 10k of 'em and it seems thats how many residents there actually are. Everyone has a dock, a boat, and maybe even a couple jet skies (which we will be riding today after breakfast today). Our Let's Go USA guide book said that 'sota is home to more than 100 golf courses, so we had to hit one up, but had to settle for the Par-3 because Marty wouldn't let us get in the way of him and his boys' 18. Being from CA, why Benji and I haven't played golf before? Beyond me. A beer a hole is what we bet. Although I'm still the better athlete, I owe him two beers.
Aside from golf, I have to give a special shout out to our gift from Hashem, this GPS thingy. Benji got like 15 maps from AAA before our trip, but who are we kidding. We're two little Jews who have felt ever so entitled our entire lives. Thanks Manya, Rob (who Benji imitates kiddish flawlessly), Julie, and Steve (without the mustache, of course.) Well, this trip has barely begun and we haven't even left our first destination. Got lunch in a few, jet skiing after, but waiting 30 min for our tummys to digest before getting in the water (thanks, mom) and then the Twins game vs. Cleveland. Where are we off to tomorrow morning? South Dakota, Wyoming? Who knows. Oh, ps- we left a light on in the car for like 5 hours last night, battery didn't die though- that would've been bad.
One love. Edub, Avraham, Eweb or whatever ya'll call me.

ReplyDeleteOnce I left the lights on in that car all night long and the battery DID die...Uncle Bill was not too happy about that. What a great idea to have the blog!!! Rachel and Jonah should have done this too!!!
